Short version: this app does not collect your data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. It does not send anything anywhere. Everything the app creates — your saves, your survey logs, your photos — stays on your device and is deleted when you delete the app.
This policy describes how the iOS application Ice Fishing Lake Expedition & Tools (the “App”) handles information. It applies to the App as distributed on the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad.
In this document, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the developer of the App; “you” refers to the person using it.
We collect nothing.
We do not collect, receive, transmit, sell, rent, share or store any personal information about you. We do not know who you are, we cannot identify your device, and we have no server that receives data from the App.
Specifically, the App does not:
The App saves your game locally so you can continue where you left off. This data never leaves your device and is not readable by us.

All of this is sandboxed by iOS to the App itself. It is removed permanently when you delete the App, and you can also clear it at any time from within the App’s settings.
The App includes a feature (“Frost Lens”) that reads light, colour and texture through your camera to generate the ice conditions for an expedition, and that can photograph your catch for the field logbook. The camera is used only while you are actively using that feature, only after you grant permission in the iOS system prompt, and the resulting image data is processed on your device. Nothing from your camera is uploaded, transmitted or seen by us.
If you choose to import a picture, the App reads only the specific image you pick. If you choose to save a catch card or expedition banner, the App writes that image to your photo library. It does not browse, index or upload your library.
Both permissions are optional. If you decline them, the rest of the App works
normally — those particular features simply become unavailable. You can change
your mind at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security or
Settings → Ice Fishing Lake Expedition & Tools on your device.
The App contains no third-party analytics, advertising, social, attribution or crash-reporting components, and no embedded browser or web content. No third party receives data from the App because the App sends data to no one.
Apple may independently collect information relating to your App Store download, purchases and — if you have enabled it in your device settings — aggregated crash and usage statistics. That processing is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy, not by this one. Any such data that reaches us is aggregated and anonymous, and cannot be used to identify you.
The App is suitable for a general audience and collects no personal information from anyone, including children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), because we do not collect information from any user at all.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR (European Economic Area and the United Kingdom) and the CCPA/CPRA (California) give you rights to access, correct, delete, port and restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to it.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export or erase, and no data to sell or share — we have never sold or shared personal information, and we do not. You retain full control over the data the App stores on your device: it is yours, it is local, and deleting the App deletes it.
The App’s data is protected by the iOS application sandbox and by the device encryption applied when your device is locked with a passcode, Face ID or Touch ID. Since no data is transmitted, there is no transmission to intercept and no server of ours that can be breached.
We retain no data. Data stored locally by the App is retained on your device for as long as the App is installed, and is destroyed when you delete the App or clear your progress from within it.
If this policy changes — for example because a future version of the App adds a feature that handles data differently — the updated policy will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be reflected in the App’s App Store release notes. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
